The purpose of The Chemical Institute of
Canada is:

To establish a strategic direction and identify synergism in matters of
common interest to the Constituent Societies: the Canadian Society for
Chemistry (CSC), the Canadian Society for Chemical Engineering (CSChE) and
the Canadian Society for Chemical Technology (CSCT);

To
promote the common scientific and technical interests of the Constituent
Societies;

To
enhance the image of the chemical sciences and engineering with all
sectors of the public;

To
deliver common services to each Constituent Societies;
and
-
To
deliver common services to the individual members of the Constituent
Societies.
