Government Relations The CIC and Constituent Society Board members regularly meet with federal MPs, cabinet ministers and senior federal government bureaucrats through the partnership groups to promote the importance of increased research and innovation for the well-being of Canadian society. Calling upon its extensive membership base and Subject Divisions, the CIC has historically represented, and continues to represent, the viewpoints of chemical professionals in federal and provincial regulations.
