The Chemical Institute of Canada Public Understanding of Chemistry program’s mascot has been nameless from the outset. We have asked elementary school students to put on their thinking caps and suggest an original name for this fuzzy little blue mascot.

We have received a good number of very imaginative names for our mascot from everywhere in Canada.  Thank you to the classes and teachers that have participated.

We won't tell you yet what the name of the mascot is. Let's just say that a new element has been discovered in the periodic table of the elements!
